Review on πŸ”” Advanced Brass Trigger Bell - Revolutionary Safety Bike Bell for Full Control during Braking, Turning, and Gear Shifting on Any Bicycle by Kyle Hood

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Improvements needed for 6th generation

I had no idea how difficult it was to fit a bike bell to my mountain bike handlebars. Due to the very limited space between my Shimano Altus controls, my options were limited to bells with very thin mounts, small beaters and bell diameters. There are at best 2 models where I can keep my hand on the steering wheel for braking/shifting and ring the bell in quick succession. Trigger Call, although the theme is designed to use both controls and a call at the same time, the theme is far from ideal for my needs. But at this point it's a compromise. I tried 2 other mounting positions that didn't work before I found one that finally worked. Since my right hand controls the shifter and rear brake, I didn't want to complicate the call. So the left crank is best with just the derailleur and front brakes (which I usually use after the rear brakes to avoid tipping over). If the trigger bell allows 90Β° mounting, this offers more placement options. The head is currently vertical/perpendicular to the bell - or the head can also be rotated 90Β°. (to be parallel/in line with the bell) - Allow the firing pin to rotate. (for better finger position) - A hex nut would be much better. I got so tired of screwing with a wide flathead screwdriver to remove and rearrange the attachment strap. The strap is too long. I don't know if I can trim off the excess and even get rid of the strap holder which adds unnecessary bulk and prevents a tighter fit.
