This ramp is strong but light and goes well with our minivan and RV. Suitcase-style handle makes it easy to store or ramp. As many have noted, the rubbing surface is painfully sharp Emory Board sandpaper. Luckily we had plasti-dip and duct tape in the garage. Plasti-Dip has turned a sharp surface into a more tactile, rubbery texture. I used black spray at first but found it too hot when the ramp is in the sun. Covered twice with a white version of the plasti dip spray which worked well. Take your time and apply several thin layers every 30 minutes until you get the desired elasticity. Plasti-Dip costs about $6 a can. It takes about 2 cans to properly cover with sandpaper. Dogs like to use the rubberized ramp.
