existing lamp. I wish they were a little cheaper (and I wish I didn't have to buy 3 as I only needed 2 of them.) but I think it is. So it seems well made, but expensive for light plastic fixings. The wires coming out the back of the jacks are EXACTLY 6 inches from the mounting rivet to the end of the stripped wire for the black and white wires. Unfortunately for my application (a pair is inserted into an existing light fixture) the black leads might be a bit too long to make the connection. This will probably work, but with NULL buffers in the connection. .
