Review on 🐕 Ultimate Control: Guardian Gear Martingale Adjustable Choke-Style Dog Collar by Laura Church

I returned it after one use as my white puppy turned black on the neck from the chain. We finally settled on a Martingale puppy training collar which we are still using six months later. I liked the way the collar looked and that it wasn't a full chain, but I was confused by the residue it left. Revain was great during the return process. Runs large - I bought this collar as my pup is interested in agility training and dog training and they all have a choke collar which I disagree. I have used the Guardian but we also train other dogs and other owners have mishandled the collar causing it to stretch unnecessarily on the nose. My dog was supposed to wear a 20" choke chain, which I won't be buying, so I bought a medium one. . If the media is fully tightened, it's still too big. I just bought a small one but plan on keeping the medium one as I know he's growing into one (he's only 4 1/2 months old). So far it hasn't mattered as my dog doesn't pull through his entire training, but I made a correction one day when he was chasing a cat and he immediately came over to me. I think this is perfect for trained dogs that are being told to buy a choke collar. He also only wears it to workouts, although I know a lot of people use it all the time.
