I'm a big fan of topo. I've changed at least 10 pairs of their shoes over the past several years as a frequent runner. Judging by the reviews, I had high hopes for the new Cyclone. Pros: Relatively light Hi-Christian shoes with great energy return, very quick to touch, and *could* be a great shoe for long runs if it weren't for the cons: horrible, hard, calloused heel. ! My feet aren't usually Becky's, but I couldn't go more than 2-3 miles in these. To be honest, the poor design is obvious as soon as you put them on, but I really wanted to like them. On my second and final 8 mile run, I was in severe pain halfway through, got angry, and gritted my teeth trying to get home and throw it back in the post. Topo otherwise you have great shoes if you can fix the horrible heel design. Please do it!
