I like that tor is decentralized - no one has control over it once you download or run it for first time because there are tons nodes out in public which makes traffic anonymized even if your ISP know about what's going through their servers (which they don't).Tor can be blocked by ISPs/governments but not necessarily when used properly with VPNs such as VyprVPN; therefore i recommend using both methods together so more anonymity than without vpn would have been achieved at least during my research work! If someone wants an ultimate privacy then use combination between TOR + other tools including private browsing extensions(ie Brave) AND USE THE BEST SECURED SOCKS5 PROXY WHICH IS NOT FREE TO BE USEd FOR THIS PURPOSE only.(VYPRVPND); otherwise this will just increase risk factor rather having additional security from outside world.
