This is a great set of pens that are highly pigmented and write very finely without damaging the surface scratch. Paper. I know this is more of an artist's pen, but I use them more for writing in my coloring books. I took them on purpose because they dry very quickly, even on very glossy paper, so don't smear much because they dry very quickly (not instantaneously, but much faster than, say, a gel pen). Maybe a bit over the top and expensive for my use but these pens fit the niche I was looking for, but I can't speak to the aspects artists are looking for. These are some of the thinnest colored pen sets out there (I think the brand makes a slightly thinner pen set with the same colors) so you can write a lot with small margins and still be very clear and legible. The handles also look very high quality and durable. Even the fine nib hasn't bent yet, although I write with it a lot and don't always care for it as I should, and the ink doesn't dry on me even after long use and forgetting to put the cap on one of these for hours. The pen still worked well and the ink was still very pigmented. The cons I would say is that despite the high quality, the inscriptions and text around the pen fade very quickly and get erased/scratched in the pencil case even with slight rubbing. This is more of a minor issue as it makes the pens look older than they really are. I suspect this gives the buttons some character, but very minor issues. What I don't like is that the set lacks the orange color. Pen colors: black, brown, pink, primary colors except yellow and secondary colors except orange. Instead of yellow or orange, it is replaced with this color sepia/dark orange/light brown. I realize the yellow is probably too light to make a pen, but I was hoping for a nice bright orange to complete the set. I think draftsmen and artists would probably like the sepia color better, but I would prefer a bright orange because it looks so much better in color matching and I think it completes the color story. That's just personal preference and ranting. Also, these are a bit expensive pens, but they are good quality and worth the money. I would recommend them.
