Before I talk about these shoes, let's just get into the details. I wear 8 inch outdoor shoes. I thought they might be a bit small so I ordered 8.5. They fit well. I could wear them normally. However, I also felt that I could have gone half a size down. As mentioned in other reviews, the strap was too long, felt like it was over my foot and I could have used a few more holes in the strap to attach it. What really made me return it was that the bottom of both soles were stained and the shoes had obviously been worn before. There were even signs of wear on the straps! For the price I didn't think it was possible. I sent them back and ordered a size 8. It arrived and yes, the shoes were a bit tighter (good because they weren't uncomfortable). The straps had enough holes to fit my foot and the straps weren't too long. So if you wear a size 8 outdoor shoe, start with that size. I also have a normal width foot so I didn't go for the wide size. 8M was perfect! The shoes look great and since I always wear high heels, I really like this heel height when dancing. I took these new shoes right out of the box and wore them to a 3 day, 4 hour dance class. Lessons every day and dancing all night. Yes, my feet hurt a bit, but I can't fault the shoes. I left so thankful for the comfortable shoes and despite stepping on them etc there wasn't even a major scratch! I would like to add that I have received quite a few compliments on my wonderful shoes! So glad I found her.
