Review on 🔊 ASUS VE208T Back-Lit LED Monitor with Built-In Speakers and Wide-Screen Display (1600x900) by Jason Tpc

I thought my old ViewSonic LCD monitor (which fell apart just before Christmas) had weak speakers. Well folks you haven't heard and you won't hear from this monitor. Also, there is no audio-out jack to connect external speakers directly to the monitor. We had to wire them up by connecting them to a computer and plugging the cable into the monitor's input jack. If you don't want to use external speakers, don't buy this monitor! The screen quality doesn't seem to be as good as the ViewSonic, but it's hard to say as I can't make a direct comparison. Since this monitor is new, I cannot judge its reliability. The only reason I haven't bought another ViewSonic is because the old one lasted less than 3 years - premature death for an LCD in my opinion. My husband decided to spend more money on a new NEC LCD, also we still have an old NEC which still works after 11.5 years. I'm (almost) looking forward to this ASUS monitor breaking so I can buy another NEC.
