Review on Orei Extender UltraHD Single Control by Steve Tripp

Extension works well, picture quality is good, no flickering or dropouts that I haven't noticed yet. What's particularly annoying is that if the computer goes to sleep and the display turns off, it won't wake up when the computer wakes up. I have to physically turn the transmitter off and on again, then the screen wakes up. Not sure why this is, I used to have another product that only supported 1920x1080 but the display still woke up when the computer woke up. This is a pretty big oversight/daily annoyance by the manufacturer so I'm deducting a star. If this shortcoming were eliminated, I would have no problems with this device. ***UPDATE 1/10/20*** A few days after I first thought the receiver wasn't waking up the monitor, it seems to be working. I'm using this on a Windows PC. What got it working was going to the Power and Hibernate control panel, changing the screen to NEVER, but the system goes to sleep after 4 hours. This allows the monitor to turn off after 4 hours of inactivity and prevents the repeater from losing connection, allowing the screen to turn back on as expected when you move the mouse.
