I use the Tronex 531 round nose pliers to make fine bends in wire and sheet metal. I'm very impressed with the quality of the tool and the results it can deliver. The jaws are very strong and their tips don't deform for fine, precise work, which is very important to me. The best advice for using this type of pliers is not to force the metal; A finer touch produces the best results. Since the jaws of the pliers are round, the gripping surface of the metal is very small and tool marks are easy to leave when force is applied. One way to avoid tool marks is to use a small piece of chamois leather between the tool and the metal surface - see image. That's money well spent. I expect these pliers to last for years and give me consistent results.
