Review on πŸ¦„ Little Pony Style Play-Doh Ponies by Rick Rogers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Daughter loves this. Sure.

Summary: Overall good value for money. It is a bit difficult for the little ones to operate the clippers. The putty was very fresh. Would I buy again or give as a gift. The product was delivered quickly. It was easy for my 4 year old daughter to help open. The mold for a regular pony mold requires a lot of pressure to form the pony properly and as you would expect you will need to remove excess plasticine from the mold before opening and removing the pony from the plasticine. The hair conditioner is designed somewhat like a large syringe and requires too much pressure for my 4 year old daughter to operate on her own. The strands come out as 3 connected strands. So if you want to braid or make individual strands, you need to cut them. They also supply a very thin plastic knife which makes it more difficult than expected. It's barely strong enough to cut dough and brittle enough that I don't have to worry about injury of any kind due to my anxiety. Quick opening tip: All cutie marks can be molded from the bottom/bases of small plastic ponies. Each pony has 2 shape marks on the bottom. Overall: This is a real winner for my daughter. Yes, the knife is very thin, but it's definitely safe. The hairdresser can be a problem for younger kids but he allows me to get involved so neither of us objected. All products are thoughtfully designed with no sharp edges or sharp corners. So if your home has a problem with stepping on toys, this set is gentler on your feet than most. Lol We love the set and highly recommend it.

Pros
  • Make regalia, rainbow manes and tails, and more with the half-mold palette
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
