The hardest part of the installation was holding our heavy curved TV for a moment until we could slide it into the receiving brackets. In addition, the kit includes everything you need for wall mounting. We have a historic home so we've slightly modified the wall mount hardware (not all) to allow for the installation, but barring special circumstances (like ours) you won't need more than a drill. everything else comes with a bracket. A wall template was also included, which was very helpful. We check the wall every day to make sure everything is safe. It's a large TV (66-inch curved glass) but it seems to hold up fairly well and the mount is solid enough not to bend or flex. So far very satisfied.
