Let me start with what I don't like about this product: 1. The water tank is made of blue translucent plastic. When the night light's LED is on, it illuminates the surroundings with a rather soothing blue glow. Great idea. However, it is known that blue light (more so than other wavelengths of light) suppresses the release of the hormone melatonin and disrupts sleep. Fortunately, the blue night light can be turned off.2. The water tank has no carrying handle. Other manufacturers usually include it in their designs. (Unless there is a patent issue) I would like one of these to be added here as well. Now what I like about this device. Simple, smooth and elegant.B. The two output settings (high and low) work well in my children's rooms. The volume of the tank is big enough for 2 days but my 8 year old can easily refill and carry it. CalmE. Produces a FINE/light mist that is easily picked up by air currents and does not wet the surrounding area.
