This mouse pad is very good. I thought the surface was plastic but I was wrong! The fabric is very soft and doesn't irritate my wrist. Also, I can customize it easily, it's very flexible. Edit 05/29/2019 - HIGHLY recommended. This has been my daily driver for almost 3 years, my buddy, my teammate. It has withstood daily wear and tear. Milk? No problem. fruit smoothies? no sweat Noodle soup? Light. All you need is a damp cloth and some grease; Press firmly on the mouse pad and "scrape" the water off with a cloth. This mat has been scratched a few times out of frustration, especially given that I'm a programmer and gamer. However, it remained black, all those scratches (and tears) easily disappear in a day. Still as soft as new. This mouse pad is absolutely the BEST you can get for the price. You will NOT regret it and it will stay with you for years. I have maintained it every year by gently vacuuming it with water and washing powder. The edges started to curl up a bit and a few strands of fabric came loose and were clipped by me. However, it's still as grippy and soft as ever. I even bought another one for a family member. I can't believe this mouse pad has survived almost a quarter of my life so far. previous mouse pads I've used have peeled off or become stiff and less grippy. This product has extremely high durability for its trivial price of $4 and I still think this is the best mouse pad you can buy on this site. Period.
