As you can see from my reviews I don't complain about things too often but this was just awful. Bought it mainly based on other reviews. Oops. I spent 45 minutes trying to splice 2 ends using a Cat 6A 23 AWG spool from Monoprice. As you can see from the photos I had to strip the insulation off the wires to position them correctly. After threading and lining them up one by one, I squeezed them in to hold the connector and then had to pry them out with pliers. They were removed once I finally finished them. Even if I improved the technique, each connector would take a good 4-5 minutes. Might work for thinner wires, but it DEFINITELY WILL NOT WORK FOR 23 AWG!
