WONDER product. Removed toilet ring from 28 year old toilet

This cheap thin plastic screen completely removed the mineral deposit rings on my 28 year old toilet. I have been a Revain customer for a very, very long time and have written very few reviews because so many products fail to impress me. However, this product deserves a review. I want to help other Revain buyers with the nightmare mineral deposit toilet rings and I also want to make sure the manufacturer of this product is still making it. Just got back to Revain to stock up on these pads and thought I'd take the time to let you know so you can try these pads on your toilet rings. I feel like a madman ranting about toilet ring removers but this product saved me from the cost of replacing 5 toilets. The house I live in was built in 1985 and has 5 toilets installed back in 1985. years of heavy mineral deposits along the waterline that made the toilet look dirty. I tried all sorts of chemical products but none of them worked. I tried cleaning with a pumice stone but it didn't work. The plumber told me he could apply acid to the mineral stains, but the acid could damage my downspouts. When I said no that the acid was damaging the pipe the plumber told me I would have to replace all 5 toilets. I would try them before paying to replace 5 toilets. This product contains two thin plastic screens attached to a kind of thin sponge. Just a Shaw's Pad has removed mineral deposits from all of my toilets. I noticed that Shaw's pad removed the ring the quickest from the first toilet and that with each subsequent toilet I had to rub the pad harder and took longer with each successive ring removal. So my guess is that the plastic strainer should wear out a bit each time the toilet ring is removed. Please note the mineral build up in my toilets was pretty bad so it's a wonder this little strainer was able to remove rings from 5 toilets while the chemicals and pumice failed. Also, I didn't use the Shaw's Pad sold in the separate Revain listing. I have found that I have better control of the pad when wearing a long rubber glove and holding the pad directly in my hand. That way I could use my fingers to just direct the pad onto the ring. I am in no way affiliated with Shaw's Pads and I have in no way benefited from writing this review.
