I had my doubts that it was made in China. But I gave it a chance, I usually buy Made in Pakistan. But after a HORRIBLE shave that badly bruised my face with my Pakistani straight razor, I realized the problem was NOT THE BLADES, it was THE LEVELING. I'm assuming the Chinese ones are laser formed or something and shaped, not turned and machined like the Pakistani ones. It offers a closer fit and accuracy at a low cost. The more levelling, the better the casting finish, etc. It's good, I don't know how long it will last and I don't know the long-term durability of Chinese bronze, but I hope it will serve me well.
