Review on IBert Child Bicycle Safe T Seat Green by Chris Smotherman

Still hurts in the knees but better than Kangaroo Weeride

Almost makes Bowen go to preschool about 4 miles away. I rode it around with the Weeride Kangaroo seat but found myself tall enough that my knees kept banging against the seat. Not a problem for short rides, but if I was going to take Bowen to preschool on my bike on a regular basis, I'd better get it repaired. Seat all the way back. This didn't make my knee hit as hard, but when I raised my seat to the correct ride height, I still hit the seat with my knee. I finally gave up and went with the iBert Safe-T seat. . The first thing you'll notice when installing this seat is that it wobbles. So much so that I was concerned about the safety of this thing and asked Pardo to stop by and take a look. After the inspection, he explained that the Safe-T seat is safe to use as long as you don't exceed the weight limit (about 40 pounds). The wobble looked disconcerting but actually goes away when you load the seat with a real toddler. With this seat, my knees barely touch the seat when adjusted to the correct height. It also has the benefit of being easier to secure and put the baby in. And now I can ride at almost normal speed: of course you can't go full throttle with a toddler in it: that puts a good 25 pounds or so on the bike! Recommended. We use it almost every day and are very satisfied.
