I am a mother for the second time. On my older child, I removed all infant protection. First in our apartment and then in our first house. Both times it took forever and left a huge amount of holes in everything. It was hard work. So this time I decided not to protect the baby (because my eldest didn't interfere anyway) because we live in a new house and I don't want big holes in everything. BUT my second baby is not the same as my first, he just started crawling and has already found my cleaning supplies. They seemed to fit perfectly and I'm so glad I got them. It was insanely quick to put them on. I put 7 in several different rooms and in all the time I spent on these 7 I would probably end up with one of the traditional finished ones. I also like that they are spring loaded. So over time I know that the plastic part doesn't face down and ends up being useless. They are strong and seem to last forever.
