Bought them for a costume, and I must say I do like them a lot. Nice material, nice packaging. However, they didn't fit me well enough for me to actually wear them. Around my foot, they fit very well, but around my calf they were too tight and I couldn't pull them up all the way. This is probably just because I'm kind of short compared to others with my shoe size, but they also went up too high. I'm not sure if ordering another a size up would help with the calf width, but I'm sure that even if it did, they would just be even taller and make that part worse. Overall, though, I know that if I didn't have somewhat odd proportions/dimensions they would've been amazing boots, and that's not the retailer's fault so I can't really penalize them for it. I would definitely recommend them as long as your calf width and/or height would fit into the more normal parameters.
