I use two of these on my skiff boat where I needed to install a connector that requires a 1" hole but I didn't want to drill a 1" hole in my boat. Deck. The only thing to remember is that this is a waterproof box. To get cable in and out and remain waterproof, you must order waterproof cable glands that match the wire gauge and application.
