I have to say straight away that I'm an engineer, so my standards are distorted. I have high expectations from something I'm going to hook up a few thousand dollars worth of devices to and turn my home into a powder keg. I bought two of these so I don't think I got duds. First, they look beautiful, which is nice. Second, the outlets are very sloppy, and in my opinion this is a deal breaker. If you must use them I would recommend only using them with devices that use batteries as the plugs can fall out and placing them in a way that minimizes the risk of fire. Finally, the USB ports are too narrow and I really thought I would ruin the cable. Overall not great but I bought another one from a different brand and it didn't impress me either. It got better, but not by much. I wonder if this is just the norm for the course. It might be better to stick with a proven extension if you don't have a specific use case.
