Better value than Fluval 13.5 I can say. Comes with no broken parts, no blisters in the seams (good workmanship) and passed the leak test so I'm very happy with my purchase. This was purchased as an update to my Fluval specification. V.Light is an AI Prime HD 16, the lid is something I hand made using a set of window screens and a hacksaw from home storage. To be honest if you really want to get into reefing you will eventually need to upgrade the light so I appreciate not having to pay for an all in one aquarium kit that comes with a lens hood and light, that will eventually be replaced. You definitely need an extra pump head in the display when building a riff, a back pump alone is not enough to eliminate dead spots and create a good flow in the display. The pump is quite noisy BUT it's easy to fix with silicone grease, just disassemble and lubricate the impeller shaft, I don't know why the manufacturers don't. The rear chambers are spacious, maybe one of those will soon turn into a chaeto fugue, not sure if it's worth the effort for such a small tank. The overflow slots are thin enough that the display drains slower than the return pump can return to the display, allowing you to run a higher water level in the display and still overflow. works correctly. I just use one of the sponges in the first back chamber with a small mesh bag of charcoal. I set up chamber 3 as an enigmatic fugue with a bag of Seachem matrix loaded with pineapple sponges from my previous V-spec. The cleaning team cleans the stones. I'm growing a cheaper acro with 1ppm PO4 in this tank so it's possible. Again just great value for money, you can't beat the aesthetics of the rimless AIO tank at an extremely reasonable price, I'm using aftermarket headlights and a hood so this was definitely something that ticked all the boxes when shopping, too bad that I have never updated.
