The design of the trimmer has improved a bit but needs so many replacement tips. The main disadvantage of this device is that the medium-sized general-purpose scissors don't come close enough. I have to switch to a small clipper/cutter quite often. I guess they try to avoid cuts/scratches that can happen with a very close clipper, but that's largely up to me as a user. I want the clipper to go through everything and get rid of those mustaches that are "almost too long for a razor" before using the foil.
