They are great for cleaning anywhere, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. I prefer the smaller 12" x 12" as they are more comfortable as washcloths. I keep one on the towel rail in the bathroom to wipe down the sink and tub after use. As a result, I can keep the bathroom clean and tidy and have to clean it a lot less often. In the kitchen I use them as kitchen towels and wipe down countertops.
