Almost a year ago today I bought a Charles-Hubert pocket watch, Paris (model number 3756) for my father. It was one of the last things I did to my father before he died, so I was very careful with that watch. I know I no longer have a refund option, but I felt like you should know one of your products. The shaft has already been completely removed from the watch three times! Each time I had it serviced by a very respected watch mechanic. He told me that there was a bolt/nut system holding the stem in place and that he could only tighten it all the way. The nut seems to loosen over time, allowing the stem to fully extend when setting the time. I have to say that this is quite uncomfortable for such a new watch. After the third time (with extremely limited use as I didn't want to damage it) I tend to give up and throw the watch away. I don't know if this is a design flaw or just this particular watch, but I am extremely cautious about buying other watches from this manufacturer. It also makes me very sad because the watch was a nice reminder of my father that I could carry in my pocket and use as a chronometer.
