I like the way these canisters look, especially with the black stickers and chalk pens I used to write the contents on each canister. There is, however, a definite learning curve so that you don’t snap your finger off when trying to use them. I hurt myself several times and my daughter, who was visiting, really hurt her finger, as well. Once you learn to press down on the lid while releasing or closing the latch… things work much better. When you do not realize that you must put pressure on the lid as you are opening or closing, you can definitely get hurt. Overall, I am now happy with these canisters. I like having the variety of sizes, and they look nice on my counter.
