These whimsical necklaces glitter in the light and their embellishments are large enough to be easily manipulated. The chains themselves are standard round ball chains with a regular bar at the end. It's the decorations that make them stand out. They will add zest to your room. Of course, these aren't real crystals and they don't look like glass, instead having the smoothness and weight of plastic. Since the seller says it's glass, I'm assuming it's catalyzed fiberglass resin mixed with the metal particles we see in window treatments and cheap chandeliers. The result is refractive and beautiful, but light. I don't think they break like glass. They have been packaged in a sturdy plastic box so they can be gift wrapped. The label on the back tells us they are made in China.
