Frustrated by computer accessories and peripherals

I am very satisfied with other Redragon products that I own. I have a keyboard (K-586 pro Brahma) and mouse (M-721 pro Lonewolf) which are fantastic. When I discovered that Redragon was selling a 1080p webcam for a lot less than the mainstream brands, I jumped at it. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same quality as the keyboard and mouse. The first thing I noticed was that when my computer went to sleep or shut down completely, the green LED on the camera would light up and stay on. This light indicates that the camera is on and displaying an image. Call me paranoid, but when my computer is off or asleep, the camera should NOT indicate that it sees anything. The second problem was a huge dirty shadow that appeared in the viewport during filming. At first I thought it was just a fingerprint or other dirt that got on the lens, but no, I couldn't remove it. In any case, I am sending this camera back and reporting my disappointment. I hope Redragon can fix these issues with future updates.

Pros
  • 1080P HD Resolution - Advanced optical lens with fixed focus function and light correction, the webcam captures a fixed focus image in both bright and dark environments. You will always look gorgeous and natural in front of the camera in any light. (Note: The appearance of the product has changed, there may be differences in the appearance of the old and new models.)
Cons
  • Unusable functions
