I love this raincoat for my little Maltese! It's beautifully made. The quality and detail is what you would dress your child in! The length of the chest and back is normal. It fits my dog perfectly. I also like a piece of fleece for cool days. The clasps are solid and the band at the bottom isn't too wide (when he lifts his leg). The only thing I tinkered with a bit was the collar. There is a small hood that rolls up and tucks into the collar (just like a real raincoat!). He was a little tall and stiff in the neck. After opening the hood, I was able to pull down the collar. Scooters weigh around 8-9 pounds. and I ordered XS. Now I order S for my Morkie. She weighs about 12.5 kilos. Excellent purchase!
