I bought a 2009 Yamaha Vino as a project bike and part of the revitalization process was an oil change. Did you know that a motorcycle has 2 different oil filters? I'm used to bikes without an oil filter so this was new. Well, one of the oil filters is a strainer that collects large debris. It is cleanable. However, this filter is designed for smaller particles. I suppose you can clean and reuse the filter since it's metal, but it's pretty cheap and easy enough to replace. Watch out for some videos online as you have to remove some parts to get to the filter. As far as I can tell, the filter does its job perfectly.
