Very easy to install, just wish the instructions had pictures because I had to watch youtube videos to know exactly which screws to remove. ENSURE you have downloaded the correct update file from PlayStation.com. Is it 1 at the bottom or when you click the link above to install a new hard drive. It should be 800 megabytes, not 300. After installation, you should have around 860 GB of free space. At the moment I'm recommending this instead of 2TB as 2TB runs at the same RPM as the 500GB that comes standard with PS4 and after doing some research it was known that there were problems and for most people more than 850GB should suffice unless you plan to install all of one of your games. I suggest just installing the games you are currently playing or want to play. At the time of writing this, I have 19 games installed and over 300GB of free space left. My setup times are a bit quicker and my PS4 runs smoother overall. I know a lot of people would love to get a 2TB hard drive, but most have been known to beep after a while and fail after about a year of use. Just consider how many games you have or plan to play/get when making your decision. I know I've only had this hard drive for a few weeks so there might be issues, but I really recommend this product.
