The most important thing I can say about this fan is "Hunter", a name that has been synonymous with quality fans for decades. If it's a hunter then there are certain things you can assume. I have found good and correct suggestions for this. It's well designed and well made. The installation guide was easy to follow although we didn't need it. And it worked great from the first keystroke. Despite the combination of light and fan, it is close to the ceiling. The style description mentions a modern style, but it is so clean and unadorned that it suits any interior. We award 100 points. -Summer kitchen and illuminates the area above the center work table and is great for cooling and clearing the air of smoke and concentrated cooking odors.Until I turned on the fan I was wondering what makes it particularly good to hang in a child's room or Nursery as indicated in the description. But then it dawned on me: This fan is silent. I've had ones that hum and ones that rattle and ones that click since the day we put them on. This fan is almost silent apart from the whisper of the expelled air. Very worth its price. This is the hunter.
