I needed a way to connect four speakers to my pool and incorporate them into the setup I was planning to use with the Echo Dot. This thing did EXACTLY what I needed. I hooked up my Echo to an amp and then connected all four of my outdoor speakers to that amp with no problem. Very easy and sounds great. Even better, I plugged this amp into a smart outlet and then left the amp on. I then use my Alexa phone app while at the pool to turn on the smart plug to power the amp, and then use the app to tell my hotspot to play whatever music I want. It's great that I can do all this outside.
