I wanted to add a "small" second monitor to control multiple functions outside of my main monitor (which is primarily used for virtual desktop display). My Alienware PC doesn't have a second HDMI port, but I was able to connect an HDMI to DisplayPort cable (not included). I can use the touchscreen to scroll/zoom/rewind/fast-forward webpages that are open on the main monitor. But I don't think I can open an app like Zoom by touching the small screen (I can still use my mouse pointer to control apps on the second monitor). In general it works fine; I just wish I could open apps on a small second monitor by touching the screen (like opening Zoom).
