Good quality materials; shallow track is what I needed

Some reviewers have complained that the mounting was too shallow and they had to shim it up to clear the lip of the cabinet. But this shallow mount was exactly what I was looking for, because anything higher would have meant that the top of the bottom basket would not clear the bottom of the plumbing. My point is, look at the specs carefully. If you need to clear more than about a 1/4" lip on the bottom of the cabinet, this isn't for you - or be prepared to shim it. But that is not a reason to complain - if you didn't pay attention to the product specs when you bought it, that's your fault, not TQVAI's. The dimensions are clearly there in the product description and pictures. There are lots of similar cabinet organizers with higher mounting tracks or slides or whatever they're called. And if you are complaining about clearance on the side, that's your fault too. Measure twice, drill once. I have three very minor complaints. The mounting holes for the bottom basket are not of equal distance in the front and back, and the top basket mounts only on one side. So if you want to use two of them under a double kitchen sink cabinet (top basket reversed on each side), the unit on one side will be in about an inch from the front and the one on the other side will be in about a half-inch from the front. I see that TQVAI has come out with a new product (or I just didn't see it before) that allows the top basket to mount on either side, which enables you to mount the tracks so that the frames/slides/baskets line up perfectly. On the other hand, no one will notice but the person who installed it anyway. One other minor complaint (although other purchasers seem to place more importance on it than me) is that the top basket wiggles a little. It could have been a tighter fit, but on the other hand, it would have been more difficult to assemble. Finally, a paper template for marking or drilling the holes would have been helpful. I had no problem using a tape measure and a square, but a template would have made it easier to line up. Overall, good product, and very useful for organizing that mess under the kitchen sink. Now to find one that fits the bathroom vanities . . .

Pros
  • The slide wire shelf basket design allows for air circulation, preventing moisture buildup and helping to keep your items fresh
Cons
  • The wire basket may scratch and damage delicate items like glass or ceramic cleaning bottles.
