Review on Koss Porta Pro Bluetooth Headphones by Billy Branch

I hate to write this negative review for a wonderful sounding pair of headphones. However, it gets a second star because it sounds so good, otherwise it would have been one star. The problem is the worst Bluetooth connection I've ever experienced. First, it won't connect to any of my Apple products (all my other wireless products do). I have tried several fixes to no avail and will not factory reset my iPhone 8 or iPad to try to connect my headphones! The headphones now connect to my Android music player just fine, but that's where the good news ends: the headphones only seem to keep the connection about 6 to 12 inches from my head. With a music player in the left pocket, the connection drops in seconds, while in the right pocket it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting, which is annoying and frustrating. All of this when I'm outside. Indoors, the connection works perfectly over 10 to 12 meters, after which it breaks off. All of my other Bluetooth devices have a stable connection on the entire floor of the house I'm in. I even removed the covers from the devices but there is no difference. I specifically wanted these headphones for traveling to hear oncoming traffic while listening to music but they don't fit at all. Koss are great sounding and comfortable headphones so go for the wired version not these. If you want wireless headphones, especially for outdoor use, don't buy them. It's a shame because they sound really great.
