2T is a bit big but by no means too big and gives my 19 month old a breather but he grows in and not out so quickly. They are soft too. I washed them and noticed that the black pants had become fluffy and the fluff got from them onto the rest of the clothes. Nothing serious, but probably should have been turned inside out.
