This case is built to last. It is clear that a lot of attention has been paid to the type of material, different thicknesses and bevels. It has a very masculine look, with imitation walnut embossing on the back (see photo). The material feels like the super-hard rubber used to cushion the body of a truck, but it feels good in the hand and slides into your pocket without resistance. I received a beautiful thank you letter with a case. There was some information on how the owners came up with their design and how I can contact them if I have any problems or questions. It also included a link to a tutorial video that really helped me feel more comfortable installing it on my phone. The part tolerances are very tight and you want to see how they fit together so you don't break anything by applying the force incorrectly. The phone has a fold-out "plug" that covers the USB-C port. This takes a bit of getting used to when plugging in the cable as it tends to snap back into place due to the elasticity of the body. The solution here is a wireless charging pad so you don't have to open the lid.
