Review on Bestseller Orthodontic Braces Lipguard Protector by Kiesha Butler

Great gum protection product. IF you have straight teeth

After traditional braces were fitted, I spent several days with my gum teeth torn out. I actually cut strips of an old t-shirt and placed it between my gums and braces while waiting for it to arrive so the gums could heal. I ordered it out of desperation despite the mixed reviews and am very glad I did. I wear an underguard 24/7 and an overguard at night. I usually pull out the bottom guard to eat solid food, but leave it on for soft food (ice cream, drinks, soup, etc.). start with straight teeth as the recesses are evenly spaced to match the average "ideal" tooth spacing. If you have a tooth or two that are really out of place you can cut the strip into several pieces and use them piece by piece, but if you have a mouthful of REALLY crooked/slanted teeth this won't work for you. Helpful Tip: Start by placing the guard on the front middle teeth outwards, and if you start hitting the teeth that aren't quite aligned, rest the harp on the wire instead of pressing directly against it . This technique can change EVERYTHING!
