You get what you pay for. I really like that it has a fan and that's the main reason I chose it over others. I wanted the dock to stay in my bedroom instead of having to move the original Nintendo dock back and forth. This one is very easy. Fan noise isn't loud enough to be heard or disturbing, but the Switch still gets pretty hot. It does its job, it streams to my TV with no problems. There is no automatic shutdown. It works as long as you have the switch. I noticed that it turned off when I unplugged my Switch. I don't dare leave my switch there. Made too cheap. There is a random stripe that remains on the TV after the switch is removed and the dock is turned off. It just seems a bit unstable. Again, it works fine, no issues, but I wouldn't leave my Switch in it after I'm done playing.
