The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

I'd like to bring to your notice the fact that there is only one review for multiple HP Pavilion laptop models at once, so let me be clear: this review is specifically about the 15-ec1060ur model. Wonderful laptop! The RAM timings are too fast, and the WiFi module has issues (see below), but they are all easily replaceable. At this very low price, I can overlook a lot of flaws. Though my anxieties are quite high, I am happy with the buy overall. I rely heavily on Windows' Hyper-V feature (required by WSL 2, Docker, VirtualBox, and other virtualization software). After working on it nonstop for two days, I finally figured out why my BSoD crashes whenever I switch on Hyper-V: I was doing something wrong with the iron. See the review's comments for the explanation as to why: network card drivers. The laptop failed to power on, was later determined to be defective, was not exchanged since it was out of stock, and its receipt date remains a mystery. There will be no monetary loss. Since I am quite dissatisfied with the quality of HP products and the price has increased by $8,000 during this time, I have decided to purchase a Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ARH05 instead.

Pros
  • The Ryzen 7 4800H is the second-best performing processor currently available, behind only the Ryzen 9. The best laptop money can buy is $67,000.
Cons
  • First, the Hyper-V component of Windows 10 causes driver conflicts with the wireless LAN module L44431-001. For further information, check the comment below. 16GB of DDR4-3200 RAM with a frequency of 22. Visible handprints and scratches appear easily.
