Difficult to use Around the body

I am a heavy person with an average body of 48 inches. The U-shape of this brush barely fits around me, leaving little room to maneuver to brush my back. I was hoping for an easier use, but it's not for me (and other burly people). It works on the shoulders but not around the body.
