These ties snap around the mask's elastic band so my mask is always close at hand. The snap-on collar allows me to take the mask off and leave it hanging on my chest until I need it again. The clasps are well made and easy to release/fasten. Don't lose my mask. Don't forget my mask. It doesn't matter if it's your mask or someone else's. (yuk) Great!
