At 4W these bulbs draw no more power than a typical low wattage night bulb but they literally light up the room. Ideal, for example, in an extractor hood over the stove or in a table lamp that can be left on all night. However, at the 25W equivalent I would add that they probably aren't very useful for other purposes, but that's true of any 25W bulb. They are LED so hopefully they will last "forever" but I couldn't wait long enough to comment. I am satisfied with the bulbs and would recommend the product and buy it again.
