Simple design and essential tool!
Park Tools are the gold standard in bike tools. A torque wrench is needed to ensure you are not over tightening or over tightening the bolts on your bike. This small, portable kit is easy to take with you in your bike bag, but will probably easily fit in your toolbox. This is a modest investment but a great example of a simple tool with a good design. Highly recommended.
