A variety of clear illustrations that are a lot of fun to color.

This book has a lot of bold black lines. It contains three (3) illustrations from ten (10) ColorIt adult coloring books. (Soothing doodles. Mandalas. Colorful flowers. Wild animals. Around the world in 50 pages. Cats, kittens and wildcats. Wild doodles. Myths and fantasies. Colors of the ocean. Book is 3/16 inch thick. Length does not include spiral knitting , which gets about 3/16" longer. While it's not my favorite ColorIt coloring book, it has lots of illustrations that are fun to color in. ADVANTAGES: 1. Illustrations on one page 2. Variety of artworks, from simple to complex Some of the designs are simple enough for an experienced young colorist, some might appeal to a teenager and some are challenging for an adult colorist 3. Well defined lines The intricate images are very detailed and require a fine painting tool and maybe a little Painting experience. These are my favorites. I love the challenge of staying between the lines! Gel pens come in handy for smaller spaces. Stronger illustrations too Black-heavy traditions are fun. 4. I've experimented with colored pencils, wet brush watercolors and gel pens. I haven't had any real problems with either of them. I had to be patient to give the gel pens extra time to dry. No gel pens or watercolors show through at all! I also used the Tombow brushes. There are no leaks either! Excellent paper. 5. Well designed with spiral binding, perforated pages and heavy covers. 6. Blotting page included. 7. Thick, very smooth white paper. 8. Includes online download link for 10 free printable PDF images. Nice bonus. GRUMPS: 1. Many well-defined lines are in bold. This adds a lot of black detail to the page, which I don't like, but others might like the showiness that lots of thick black lines provide. 2. Because the paper is very smooth (almost no jags), colored pencils don't smudge well. My Prismacolor Premier had a tendency to curl and didn't mix well with other colors. My hardcore like Colore and Ohuhu had to press hard and/or repeat strokes to get more color. Marco Renoir did it. 3. Designs fill the entire page and extend beyond the edges of the paper. If someone wants to exhibit a finished work, the finished edges of the masterpiece will be framed. I used a large number of tools: Colored pencils: Prismacolor Premier & Scholar, Marco Renoir, Colore, LelixGel pens: Color Technik Glitter, AmazaPens, LollizBrush Marker: Double Tombow Brush
