Review on Night StressGuard πŸŒ™ Tooth Guard by TotalGard by Maria Gonzalez

It keeps my teeth from breaking

I started using this when I had braces a year and a half ago. took it to show my orthodontist and got her approval. The only downside is that once I started wearing the elastic straps that connect the upper and lower arches, I couldn't wear this night guard. Otherwise it was great. Now the braces are gone, I wear retainers but I still wear this nightcap - well a year later I changed it and bought a new one but still the same model. I have small arches. When the orthodontist took impressions of my teeth, he had to use a baby spoon (and I'm not baby size, I'm 5ft 8in). I have a really small mouth. On this night drop I cut a lot with sharp scissors. I'll try to explain: The part that goes up along the front teeth, on that part is a horizontal dimple line, and about 2mm above that line I cut everything (When I had braces I cut them smaller) I used a rough one Nail file to smooth sharp edges on night watch. I can just shut up at night watch, and yes, it looks pretty funny, but oh well. I've never had trouble sleeping with this night guard and it's never fallen out of my mouth and it's big enough that I'm sure I'll never have to worry about choking on it. Awake, I was grinding down my fangs so they were concave instead of pointed, and one of my molars developed stress fracture lines. his night watchman stops this. It's perfect? Maybe not, but it's better than breaking my teeth.

Cons
