Plastic deformed by summer heat
After about 6 months, the rubber edge no longer touched the glass, which meant that it was not visible in the rear window when braking at night. The entire window turns bright red from light entering around the rubber. The plastic is badly deformed. I tried to reshape it with clamps and a hair dryer but the rubber edge remains deformed. If you need to replace this part, use genuine BMW, not junk from China.
